3 STAGE PROCESS
UrbanPONICS follow 3 Stage process to grow food in the most advanced ways possible:
- SEEDLING STAGE: Seeds are planted in Rock-Wool cubes Seedling Trays and given Nutrient Rich Water and Light for 15 Days for them to germinate.
- SAPLING STAGE: The germinated seeds are then transferred to net-pots with expanded clay and placed in NFT Channels in vertical stack for maximum efficiency. Nutrient rich water is supplied to roots in NFT format with sufficient Grow Lights for 15 days for them to be Growth Stage Ready.
- GROWTH STAGE: Saplings from NFT rack is transferred in the same net pots and placed in UrbanPONICS patent pending Growth Stage – modules. Deep Water Culture (DWC) technology is adopted here – but in a vertical format for 15 days giving them Nutrient rich water and lights for them to be harvest ready !
