Urban Ponics can grow up to 200 varieties of crops, such as leafy greens, herbs and lettuces.

We use advanced LED lights to provide our plants with the precise light intensity and color they need to grow properly and efficiently. Via the app, it is easy to monitor the lighting and adjust it accordingly to maximize yields and quality while minimizing electricity use. We believe plants deserve the best inputs for them to deliver the best outputs. This LED technology enables our indoor vertical farming units to mimic and even excel beyond the capabilities of outdoor vertical farming units.

While both a vertical hydroponic system and a vertical geoponic system provide higher than average yields, geoponics have several unique advantages over hydroponics. Geoponic systems are overall more cost-effective, require less high-skilled maintenance, have a longer shelf-life, and can yield a more diverse range of crops. Moreover, using a geoponic solution supports our values of keeping plants in their original environment and utilizing nutrients and minerals in their natural form.

Control – Our urban farm gives you complete control over irrigation, lighting, and temperature ensuring that plants receive the optimum conditions to thrive.

Speed and Convenience – Crops can grow twice as fast in controlled environments as compared to conventional outdoor agriculture. Using our modular technology plants can also be harvested easily and replaced easily without the burdens of plowing and tilling massive fields.

Weed-free & Pesticide-free – With our indoor urban farm, no weeding is needed. Furthermore, time and costs are reduced because there is no need to spray produce with pesticides.

Seasonality Constraints – Crops are no longer dependent on weather conditions in order to flourish, meaning you can grow a consistent and stable supply of produce, regardless of the season or extreme weather conditions.

Accessibility – Easy to manage, easy to operate, and requires minimal space, our urban farm is a convenient and accessible way to grow produce quickly and easily without any special skills.

Vertical farming is an agricultural method whereby crops grow vertically, often in stacked levels or using a vertical platform, such as a wall or a cylinder. Vertical farming (also known as vertical agriculture) is often done indoors using controlled-environment agriculture, which monitors and controls agricultural inputs such as irrigation, fertilizer, lighting, and temperature.

On average, vertical farming uses between 90-97% less water than conventional field-grown agriculture. For geoponic systems, drip irrigation is monitored, which provides each plant with the precise quantities it needs. Excess water gets transferred to the crops in the row beneath it. Furthermore, the indoor environment prevents evaporation as compared to a field, which further increases the water efficiency of this technique.

For hydroponic systems, water is recycled within the system.

Vertical farming hosts a number of important advantages. As produce uses vertical space, about 6 times more crops can be grown per meter as compared to field-grown agriculture. This spatial efficiency enables produce to be grown closer to the consumer, increasing access to fresh and local food. Many vertical farms are even located in or near major cities and urban hubs, which increases food security in urban spaces. Vertical farming units also utilize indoor farming techniques, which produce a consistent yield year-round, regardless of the weather or season. Furthermore, because farms are in closed spaces, they are not vulnerable to outdoor pests, and therefore most vertical farms are free of chemical pesticides.

Vertical farming can be set up in any country in the world. Currently vertical farming can be found in: The USA, UK, Germany, Japan, China, Singapore, Israel, France, and several other countries.

Vertical farming has many benefits, such as growing a high yield while using minimal land; growing a consistent and steady supply of food throughout the year, growing produce in urban regions- close to the final consumer, consuming minimal water, and much more. One of the challenges of vertical farming is how to scale up operations to a commercial level to reach large-scale retail and consumer needs.

Not all vertical farms are organic. However, due to their indoor environment, most vertical farms are free of chemical pesticides, and some are considered organic farms.

We grow a variety of lettuces, including butterhead, romaine, red leaf, and green leaf. Our lettuces are grown hydroponically, without soil, and are free from pesticides and herbicides.

Yes, our herbs are grown organically without the use of synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. We use natural methods to control pests and diseases, and we source non-GMO seeds for all of our plants.

Our mixed greens blend includes a variety of lettuces, such as butterhead, romaine, and red leaf, as well as other greens like arugula and spinach. It’s a perfect combination of flavors and textures that makes for a delicious salad.

Microgreens are tiny versions of mature plants, typically harvested when they are only a few inches tall. They are packed with nutrients and have a concentrated flavor, making them a popular choice for salads, sandwiches, and other dishes.

We harvest our produce daily and deliver it to our customers as quickly as possible to ensure maximum freshness. Our hydroponic growing system allows us to control the growing conditions, including temperature, humidity, and light, to optimize the quality and shelf life of our produce.

No, we don’t use any artificial fertilizers or pesticides. Our hydroponic growing system uses natural nutrient solutions that are carefully balanced to provide the necessary minerals and vitamins for our plants. We also use natural methods to control pests and diseases, such as ladybugs and beneficial insects.

Our produce is harvested daily and delivered to our customers within hours of being harvested. We recommend consuming it within a week for optimal freshness and flavor.

Yes, we offer a customizable option where you can choose the types of lettuces or herbs you want in your order. Simply select the “Customize Your Order” option and choose the specific items you want.

We recommend storing our produce in the refrigerator in a sealed container or plastic bag. It’s best to wash the produce just before using it to prevent moisture buildup, which can cause it to spoil more quickly.
