Green Leaf Lettuce Salad with Lemon Vinaigrette

Here’s a simple recipe featuring green or loose leaf lettuce as the main ingredient:


1 head of green or loose leaf lettuce, washed and chopped
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon honey
Salt and pepper to taste


  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, and pepper to make the vinaigrette.
  2. In a large salad bowl, toss the chopped lettuce with the vinaigrette until evenly coated.
  3. Serve the salad immediately, and enjoy!


Note: You can add other vegetables, fruits, nuts, or cheese to the salad to make it more flavourful and nutritious. Some ideas include cherry tomatoes, cucumber, avocado, apple, pear, strawberries, almonds, walnuts, or feta cheese.
