Classic Wedge Salad with Blue Cheese Dressing


1 head of iceberg lettuce, cut into 4 wedges
1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt and black pepper to taste
4 strips of crispy bacon, crumbled (optional)
1/4 cup chopped chives (optional)


  1. In a small bowl, whisk together blue cheese crumbles, mayonnaise, sour cream, milk, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper to make the blue cheese dressing.
  2. Place each wedge of iceberg lettuce on a plate or in a shallow bowl.
  3. Drizzle the blue cheese dressing over the top of each wedge.
  4. Sprinkle crumbled bacon and chopped chives over the top (optional).
  5. Serve immediately, and enjoy!

Note: You can also add other toppings to the salad, such as diced tomato, sliced avocado, or diced red onion. Additionally, you can substitute blue cheese dressing with ranch or any other dressing of your choice.
